Other historical attributes is the fact that here on Tangier Island is where the development of the statin drugs as we know today that combats chlorestrol began with two children who lived on Tangier.

Hello everyone:

          On behalf of Claudine and the boys, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to visit us here online at Four Brothers Crab House & Ice Cream Deck.  Tangier has been my home for life and I feel honored and proud to be called a Tangierman.  I have been blessed with a childhood like very few could even image.  

         Growing up on Tangier Island gave me a sense of respect and loyalty to family and friends; and a deep respect for all that surrounds me, the Chesapeake Bay and its natural resources, its wildlife, and a lifestyle found no where else.  

         Tangier Island was a play ground for me as a child and, in fact, still is. The Chesapeake Bay provided food for our family.  It provided me with an on-hands education of the Chesapeake Bay and taught me to never take anything for granted.  Some may say that living on an island is not easy, and at times I might agree; but, it is the rewards one has by being raised on Tangier that makes it all worthwhile.  It is living with and respecting nature and all that it offers,  and as the sun rises on Tangier Island, each day is different in an amazing way. I am so blessed to be a part of this island on a regular basis and what it has to offer to others, even if it's only for a short while. You can take home what has been mine for a lifetime, great memories of the Chesapeake Bay and Tangier Island. 

         We invite you to join us here on Tangier for a warm and friendly visit, whether its a day trip, or you plan to stay overnight, or take a vacation here.  If we can assist you with golf cart or bike rentals, fishing, crabbing, or beach rentals, please do not hesitate to contact us.  While on the island, we hope that you will join us on the deck at Four Brothers Crab House for a delightful meal and if you bring your laptop, Wi-Fi Internet Service is offered free of charge.
